Getting in
- Rock Sound Airport: This is the sensible airport for Tarpum Bay: collect a pre-booked rental car and drive roughly 35–45 minutes north. There is no dependable public bus or taxi rank-to-town transfer to treat as transport infrastructure; arrange any private pickup with your accommodation before flying.
- Governor’s Harbour Airport: A viable alternative if flight times work better. Pre-book a car at the airport and allow about 45–60 minutes to Tarpum Bay. Do not assume you can arrive and summon a rideshare or find a cheap shared shuttle.
- North Eleuthera Airport: Use ELH only if it materially improves the airfare or connects with Harbour Island. It is a long cross-island drive—allow roughly 1½–2 hours in a rental or arranged transfer. Recent local advice puts a private transfer around US$200–250; confirm the fare and luggage capacity in advance.
