Hong Kong International Airport: For Tsim Sha Tsui, West Kowloon or a hotel near Kowloon Station, take the Airport Express to Kowloon: about 20 minutes, roughly HK$115 adult single. It is fastest, clean and luggage-proof, but Kowloon Station is not central to most Kowloon hotels; use the free hotel shuttle only if it serves your hotel, otherwise take a short taxi or MTR onward. For Tsim Sha Tsui, Jordan and Mong Kok on a budget, take Citybus A21 (or N21 overnight) along Nathan Road: slower—typically 45–75 minutes with traffic—but around HK$33 and far more useful if your hotel is on the route. Do not take a cross-harbour taxi unless you have a group and heavy luggage: tunnel tolls and traffic make it poor value.
Hong Kong West Kowloon Station: High-speed-rail arrivals are already in Kowloon. Austin MTR station is linked to the station; Kowloon Station is a short walk through the West Kowloon development. Use the Tuen Ma Line from Austin for East Kowloon/Kowloon City, or walk/taxi for West Kowloon and Tsim Sha Tsui. For Mong Kok or Nathan Road hotels, a taxi is often simpler than wrestling bags through interchanges.
Kai Tak Cruise Terminal: Use the cruise-line/terminal shuttle when it is running, then connect to MTR or a taxi. The terminal is on the old runway and remains awkwardly isolated; the public bus/minibus links exist but are not a dignified first move with cruise luggage. Budget roughly 20–35 minutes to central Kowloon once you are off the ship, longer at peak traffic.
Ocean Terminal, Tsim Sha Tsui: This is the easy cruise arrival: walk through Harbour City toward Star Ferry/Tsim Sha Tsui, or take a very short taxi. Tsim Sha Tsui MTR is within walking distance, though the mall-and-underpass route is confusing with bags.
