Getting in

• Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport, Plaine Magnien: Cottage is a small village in Rivière du Rempart, not a city with an airport link. The good option after a flight is a pre-booked hotel transfer or licensed taxi: roughly 1¼–1¾ hours, depending on traffic and the exact address, and about Rs 2,000–3,500 one way. There is no practical direct public-transport transfer; buses mean changes, usually via Port Louis and/or Goodlands, and can turn the trip into a 3+ hour luggage exercise.
