Palma de Mallorca Airport: Take EMT’s A1 airport bus to Palma centre/Plaça d’Espanya: roughly 25–35 minutes and about €5 one way. It is the sensible choice for most central hotels; airport taxis are quicker (about 15–20 minutes) but typically around €25 to the centre before any extras. Do not pre-book a generic ‘shared transfer’ for a compact city with a direct public bus.
Port of Palma (ferry terminal): EMT bus 1 links the port with the centre and Plaça d’Espanya in roughly 25–30 minutes, for the ordinary city-bus fare. With luggage or a hotel in the old town, take the short taxi ride instead; the terminal is close enough that a private transfer is needless.
Estació Intermodal / Plaça d’Espanya: This is Mallorca’s rail-and-bus hub for arrivals from the rest of the island, not a mainland rail station. The old town begins about a 10–15-minute walk downhill; use a taxi if you have heavy bags, rather than trying to drive into the historic centre.
