Alicante–Elche Miguel Hernández Airport: This is the sensible airport. Take the direct ALSA airport coach to Benidorm (roughly 45–60 minutes; about €10), then change to the local bus for Albir/l’Alfàs del Pi (allow another 20–30 minutes and roughly €1.50). If you are staying in Albir with luggage, a pre-booked shared shuttle is usually worth it: airport-to-Benidorm transfers are advertised from €10 or less and take about 30–45 minutes, but confirm that it actually drops at your accommodation rather than Benidorm bus station.
Benidorm Intermodal / Benidorm tram station: For arrivals from Alicante city or the north coast, use TRAM d’Alacant: L1 connects Alicante and Benidorm in about 1 hour 9 minutes, while L9 runs north toward Dénia. Both Benidorm stations are west of the resort, not in l’Alfàs del Pi, so budget a local-bus or taxi final leg to Albir or the inland town. Do not mistake the tram station for a walkable arrival point for an Albir hotel.
Benidorm bus station: ALSA is the useful long-distance option from Alicante, Valencia and other Spanish cities. The station is on Benidorm’s western edge; continue by local bus rather than taking an opportunistic taxi. Local buses also link Benidorm with Altea, Finestrat and Villajoyosa.
