Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport: Rent a car at the airport and drive north on the Glenn Highway and George Parks Highway to the Parks Highway/Talkeetna Spur Road junction—the old “Y,” now the practical center of Susitna North. Allow roughly 2½ hours in good conditions. There is no useful airport-to-Susitna-North public-transport transfer; a private shuttle or taxi is poor value unless someone is collecting you.
Talkeetna Depot (Alaska Railroad): The Alaska Railroad’s summer passenger service reaches Talkeetna, but Talkeetna is not Susitna North. From the depot, the CDP’s highway junction is roughly a 20-minute drive via the Talkeetna Spur Road. Arrange a rental car or pickup in advance: do not assume a taxi, rideshare, or local shuttle will be waiting.
Fairbanks International Airport: Fairbanks is a viable alternative only if Susitna North is one stop on a southbound Alaska road trip. Rent a car and drive the George Parks Highway south; expect about 4–5 hours, plus construction delays in summer or much longer in winter conditions. There is no practical public-transport connection.
