Daniel K. Inouye International Airport: For Waikīkī with normal luggage, take a taxi or rideshare: roughly 25–30 minutes in light traffic and about $20–40 before tip/surge. This is usually better value and far less tedious than a per-person hotel shuttle. TheBus Route W runs via Downtown to Waikīkī about every 15 minutes for about $3, but it is a standard city bus: large luggage is not allowed and exact change may be required. Skyline’s Lelepaua station is a 5–10 minute elevated walk from Terminals 1 and 2, but the current line serves western Honolulu, not Downtown or Waikīkī—do not mistake it for an airport-to-hotel rail link.
